How to use the program

Download, unpack and start the program. You will see a field called Address'. Insert the address of the web file which you want to 'download'. Press START and the program will continue to download that page over and over until you stop it.

Real life example

Do you want to see the program in action? Then create a new entry (row) and insert this address: http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/NFO-View-Download-59167.html
Look at the initial counter (the counter is located here), let the program to generate some 'downloads' then look at the counter again. 

Fields

• Address: page that is to be downloaded
• Site: same as above (name of the web site). Used for better visibility. Read only.
• Enabled: the site/page will be skipped if this option if 'OFF'
• Click delay: indicates at which interval you want to download the target file (to generate clicks). For example if the Click delay is set to 5 seconds, the page will be downloaded every 5 seconds generating a total of 720 downloads per hour.
• Clicks/hour: Calculated form Click delay. Read only.
• Clicks/hour: Calculated form Click delay. Read only.
• Given clicks: shows how many times the file was downloaded until now. Does not reset if you stop the program. To reset this value see the 'Reset column' panel.
• Missed clicks: shows how many times the program did not succeed downloading the file (for example, because the server was down)
• Current proxy: shows which proxy is used at this moment. Has a meaning ONLY if you activated the 'Use proxy' option (see below).

All these settings are automatically saved to the project file and restored when you reopen the project.

Hint

Hold the 'Control' key pressed while clicking on link (address) and the program will load that link in the web browser.

PROXY LIST

How to use a proxy list

To use a list of proxies, click the 'Internet Connection' tab, then click 'Use list of proxies'. A blue box will appear. Enter your proxies here, one per row. The format used is: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:port. Example: 212.123.0.196:80

Press the 'Save' button to save the proxy list. Now you can go back in Speed Light and start to use it.

Where is the proxy list saved?

The file is saved in user's profile folder. For example, if your Windows user name is Lennon, then the file is save in c:\Users\Lennon\AppData\Roaming\SpeedLight\ProxyList.txt

You can also manually edit this file but in this case you need to restart the application so it can read the new proxy list.
